When you were younger, you’d watch your Mom or Dad get more and more frustrated when you wanted something. Eventually, one of them would say, “Because I said so!,” or a variation of that.
Kids don’t give up easily. They’ll try asking, begging, throwing tantrums, and other assorted ways to dominate your attention and get what they want.
Now, you’re the parent and your kids are doing to you what you did to your Mom and Dad.
Because I’m the Mommy, That’s Why!
